PhD Thesis

Topic

Automatic Estimation of Users' Verbal Intelligence

Status

completed

Description:

The aim of the thesis is the development of algorithms for automatic estimation of speakers' verbal intelligence based on the analysis of spoken utterances. Automatic verbal intelligence estimation of users in a Spoken Language Dialogue System may help it to choose the best dialogue strategy and to improve its adaptation capabilities. The work is based on a corpus containing monologues and dialogues of test persons with different educational backgrounds and their verbal intelligence scores.
